• What experience does this doctor have?

• Do I know anyone who has been to this doctor before?

• What special certifications has this doctor received and are they related to my medical needs?

Communication

• Is this doctor able to communicate in a way that I can understand?

• Does the doctor make time for consultation and allow sufficient time for questions and conversation?

Availability

• How long does it take to make an appointment?

• Can I contact the doctor by phone if questions or needs arise?

• Is the doctor accessible if there is an emergency?

Location

• Is it important that this doctor be close to my home?

Support Staff

• Is the doctor's office staff knowledgeable, efficient, and professional?
